Security disclosures
Responsible disclosure of vulnerabilities. PGP available on request.
How does verification work?
Visit app.usebitfrost.com and upload the image. The verifier checks whether the cryptographic watermark is intact and reports whether the image has been modified since it was signed.
Can I verify an image someone else signed?
Yes. Verification is public and does not require an account. Any image signed by Bitfrost can be verified by anyone.
What happens if the image is compressed or resized?
The watermark is designed to survive standard JPEG re-compression. Aggressive re-encoding, cropping, or colour correction may degrade or remove it, which would show as an inconclusive or failed verification.
Is my image stored on your servers?
No. Images are processed in memory during the signing or verification request and are not retained afterward. Only a cryptographic record of the operation is stored for audit purposes.
